ICC HealthNet's Care Centres provide a continuum of patient care services. To do this, the Care Centres assemble health care providers in all disciplines: physicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, occupational therapists and audiologists. To support these clinicians are an excellent team of administrative, technical and nursing staff. We are currently hiring for these positions, in different Care Centre locations.

Physician's Assistant:

  • Assist physicians in the examination rooms
  • Familiar with all autoclave procedures
  • Prepare and restock all exam rooms
  • Perform all triage and vital procedures including:
    Chart completion, temperature, urine tests including pregnancy
  • Completion of requisitions, pap sheet and how swabs sent to the lab
  • Assist in maintaining medical supplies inventory
  • Ability to order vaccines
  • Cross-staff coverage and assisting others as required
  • Team player

Locations: Sarnia & London
Status: Full-time & part-time


Front Desk:

  • Answer any or all incoming phone lines
  • Previous experience with OHIP billing software
  • Register, book, check in and recall patients
  • Take messages and handle requests for doctors
  • Pulling charts and results; filing charts & results
  • OHIP, WSIB, IFH & Third party billing & reconciliation
  • Assisting with supplies, ordering process & assisting nurses
  • Cross-staff coverage and assisting others as required
  • Team player

Status: Full-time & part-time


Administrative Assistant:

  • Secretarial support for clinical operations & accounting department
  • Knowledge of all Windows applications expected
  • Exposure to accounting software an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Involvement with business development programs related to the new Care Centres and joint venture initiatives; in these areas Powerpoint/Paint/Publisher skills will be required
  • Maintenance of senior management travel schedules and appointments
  • Coordination of purchasing process for office and medical supplies; for the operations/accounting office and the clinics
  • Ability to establish priorities, maintain tight schedules and work under pressure, round of the skill set of the successful individual
