PRACTICE OPPORTUNITIES

ICC HealthNet's Care Centres are a combination of Urgent Care (episodic/non-acute) medical services performed by a walk-in physician and supported by triage nurses; and Primary Care - the continuity of care through family physicians. The Centre includes all ancillary medical services such as: laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, massage therapy, audiology, dental and naturopathy. Each Care Centre has a Medical Director whose responsibility is overseeing all medical staff and Clinic services. In addition, a Clinic Manager is responsible for the front desk, nursing and support staff; and any corporate activities related to purchasing and billing.

The Care Centre structure is concurrent with the federal and provincial initiatives for Family Health Networks (FHN's), Family Health Teams (FHT's), Family Health Groups (FHG's) and the Comprehensive Care Model (CCM). Currently, three of ICC HealthNet's Care Centres are registered as FHG/FHT's (with some CCM physicians).

Sarnia

• Sarnia-Lambton Care Centre
  One year old group practice in 7,200 sq ft with 4 established family physicians, rehab-physio and audiology services. Room for 1 more full-time family physician; walk-in clinic shifts available. Come be a part of the improvements in patient services, as this Care Centre migrates to electronic medical records.

London

• Byron Village Medical Centre
  5 family physician FHT; established for 15+ years. Position available immediately for a one (1) full-time family physician.

Mississauga

• Mississauga Urgent Care Centre
  10 year family practice and urgent care clinic with 5 physicians servicing over 10,000 patients. Heartland area with significant residential growth. Partnership or associate positions available in this 14,000 sq ft clinic on 2 floors.
  
  
• Queentario Medical Centre
  Busy walk-in clinic. Near Trillium Hospital - Queensway campus. Shifts available for family practice and walk-in.
